Weekend trip to MADRID!




​Get to know the capital of Spain on this incredible weekend ​where you'll meet lots of new people. We'll leave Valencia early on Saturday to make the most of the day.

We'll have a guided visit of the historic centre ot Madrid (around 3 hours) ​in which we'll see all the best areas, and we'll be told about the history of the city seeing sights such as ​la Gran Via, la Plaza Mayor, la Puerta de Sol, the Royal Palace...

​We'll also visit the ​Retiro Park ​with its famous ​pond and crystal palace.

​We'll have the opportunity to visit the famous museums that form the triangle of culture in the centre of Madrid, ​Thyseen Museum, Prado Museum, and the Reina Sofia Museum ​which are all world famous and the main reason that tourists come to visit the city...

​For those who wish there is also the opportunity to visit the ​Santiago Bernabéu stadium.



​We'll be staying in the ​centre of Madrid ​next to the Puerta del Sol, where we're right next to all the main roads.



Saturday night ​we'll of course make the most of the famous Madrid scene and we'll go out and party in one of the best clubs in Spain Kapital! A building of 7 floors ​an old theatre turned into a club with different types of music and right in the centre of Madrid near our accomodation!



Why visit Madrid?

- Madrid is home to the ​Spanish Royal Family, parliament and the government.

- Madrid has a double honour because not only is it the capital of Spain but it's the largest city. Madrid is situated along the bankcs of the river Manzanares, which rins through the centre of the city. It's also the greenest city in Europe thanks to it's numerous parks.

- Madrids name came from the Arab word 'magerit' which means 'the place of many currents'

- The official symbol of Madrid is a bear which is a bear stood on its back legs and reaching for the fruits of the strawberry tree. According to legend, strawberry trees used to grow in the city.

- What's the best football club in the twentieth century? According to FIFA, it's without doubt Real Madrid. Their home arena is the famous ​Santiago Bernabeu stadium ​in the north of Madrid and houses 85,000 spectators. When they don't have games you can ​visit the stadium, ​and even visit the VIP areas.

- And of course is you have come to spend some time in Spain you have to go to the centre!



Sunday evening (around 8pm) we'll arrive back in Valencia.
