Day 2: Mausoleum of Mohammed V in Rabat, Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, Marrakech
Our first stop on the African continent will be in Rabat, the capital of Morocco, where we will make a panoramic visit to the mausoleum of Mohammed V, where we will end our unforgettable experience.
Afterwards we will head to the majestic city of Casablanca. We will visit the Hassan II Mosque, the second largest mosque in the world (don't forget to add your ticket in EXTRAS!).
After visiting Casablanca we go to Marrakech where we will spend 2 nights.
In the afternoon at arrival we will check-in, dinner. Free time.
Day 3: Marrakech
In the morning we will take a guided tour to discover the incredible corners and stories of Marrakech. We will be able to continue discovering this magical city and soaking up its culture.
Free afternoon. You can visit the famous Jemaa El Fna Square, the Souk and the mosque, and shop for souvenirs. There is so much to do in this magical city!
Day 4: High Atlas, Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou
We will take the road to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, declared a World Heritage Site.
To get to the Kasbah we will have to pass through the High Atlas, a mountain range that has the highest altitudes in all of North Africa and where argan trees grow, unique on the planet. We will stop at the women's cooperative that produces this oil by hand, and where we can buy some samples.
Day 5: Todra Gorges, the Water Wells and desert, Merzogua and camp in the desert.
Our next destination will be Merzouga, the city known as the gates of the desert.
On the way we will stop at different places such as the Todra Gorges, the Water Wells and we will enjoy the views of southern Morocco.
We will arrive at the small town of Merzouga, located in the Sahara desert. There we will live a unique experience that will begin with an excursion with camels through the dunes, then we will contemplate the spectacular sunset and spend the night in Jaimas, under the magical atmosphere of the desert.
Day 6: Desert
We will wake up early to watch the sunrise and make the most of the day.
For that day we have several options for what to do: we can spend the day relaxing in the hotel pool, sunbathing, bathing, dancing, taking walks through the nearby dunes.
As an alternative, we can take a route through the desert in a 4x4 and along the way we will visit the nomadic villages, the lake, the old mines and the local cooperative (don't forget to add it in EXTRAS when booking the trip!).
We will spend the night in a hotel at the foot of the dunes where we can enjoy a party to the rhythm of drums.
Day 7: Oasis, Midelt
We will leave the desert after breakfast and that night we will sleep near Midelt, a small city located between the sea and the desert. On the way we will visit the Oasis - one of the largest in Africa. Spectacular views.
Day 8: Fez and Chefchaouen
Our next destination will be Fez, the spiritual capital of Morocco. There a local guide will show us the city, giving us a trip back in time. Fez is known for its walled medina, its lively souks, its mosques and for having one of the oldest universities in the world.
Our last stop in Morocco will be the holy city of Chefchaouen, the blue city in the Riff of Morocco. We will sleep spend the night there.
Day 9: Chefchaouen, ferry, Spain
After breakfast we will visit this city that is located on a mountain in the heart of the biosphere natural reserve. Its streets painted white and blue, the displays of craftsmanship and the peace that is breathed in its streets make this city a true fairy-tale landscape.
After enjoying its charms, we will head to the port to take the ferry back to Spain.
Day 10: Return from Algeciras to Valencia
I ride the bus from the port of Algeciras to Valencia. With a suitcase full of memories we will return home.
