Located 30 miles (54 kilometers) from the peninsular coast to the height of Oropesa (Castellón), the islands are a protected enclave due to their ecological and biological diversity and they are surrounded by an important marine reserve.
During the journey we will take advantage of everything related to the sea: sunrises, sunsets, dolphins, fish of all colors swimming in crystal clear waters and the incredible views. On board we will learn more about ourselves, make new friends, share meals and also our emotions.
TRAVEL PLAN:
Friday:
- See you on the boat after dinner, we distribute cabins, prepare the beds, explanations of security measures, introduction to life on board.
- day trip departure
- we will enjoy the magnificent sunset while sailing
- arrival at Columbretes for dinner time
- night on board
Saturday:
- wake up in the morning, breakfast on board
- day of snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing, lunch on board
- in the afternoon we will disembark at the Illa Grossa for a visit
- dinner on board
- sunset, chill out music, relax
- we spend the night on board
Sunday:
- wake up early and breakfast
- enjoy the crystal clear waters
- set off the sea crossing to Valencia
- lunch on board while sailing
- arrival in Valencia on Sunday afternoon

Columbretes Islands are an archipelago of small islands of volcanic origin, in the Mediterranean Sea, 49 kilometers away from Oropesa del Mar. Administratively they belong to Castellón de la Plana in the Valencian Community (Spain). For their protection, in 1988 they became part of the Columbretes Islands Nature Reserve, and in 1995 the environment was added as to the Columbretes Islands Marine Reserve. They are inhabited by various teams of vigilantes on a permanent basis.
The main islets are Columbrete Grande or Illa Grossa, La Ferrera; La Horadada or La Foradada; and El Bergantín or Carallot .. The total emerging area of the four is around 0.19 km² and the highest point is 67 meters above sea level. Illa Grossa, the largest, is the northernmost island of the group. It is located on the site of an ancient volcanic crater and shows a distinctive semicircular pattern. There are no buildings on it, except for a 19th century lighthouse, a jetty, and some buildings built for biologists and others who work in the wildlife nature reserve.
